Troy started his athletic journey at the age of two; over the years he tried his hand at tee-ball, soccer, lacrosse and tennis. At the age of four, he started playing basketball and he told his dad “I don’t want to play another sport, because I’m a hooper.” Troy began to dedicate many days and nights to training and practice in the hopes that he would improve his game.

Troy suffered a severe sports injury that sidelined him for an entire season. This setback led him on a journey to heal both mentally and physically. During this time, he realized that without the proper footwear his injury could have been far worse. Grateful to return to the court, Troy decided to ensure that other young basketball players would not have to endure similar injuries and have access to the quality footwear.
